Berkshire South Regional Community Center’s mission is to build a sense of community and common purpose throughout the region, and to enhance the recreational, educational, cultural, health and social well-being of the residents of the Southern Berkshires. Berkshire South is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization open to all, regardless of ability to pay.
Now in its 21st year of operation, the Center offers more than 125 inter-generational programs, and provides ongoing services to over 1,900 members and more than 100 individuals on a walk-in basis every day. The facility includes an aquatics center, fitness center, gymnasium, 200-seat auditorium, youth center, preschool, meeting rooms and offices. It is situated on 80 acres of land comprised mostly of woodlands with hiking trails, a community garden and outdoor recreation space.
